Dear Mr Elpel,
      I have now received and had time to properly read your book (and watch your two DVDs). I am most impressed with the level of detail you go into. It's extremely helpful, and explains the concepts very well. My best friend Michael and I are planning to start building our house about a year from now. I'm currently studying for my builder's license, and Michael is a carpenter.

      I guess I'm not writing to ask anything, but just to say thanks for explaining the concepts so thoroughly! If you were interested, we could send you photos of the project when we get started (thought as I said, that might be some time from now). Of course you may already have lots of people sending you photos, so that may not be desirable, but still :) I thought I'd offer.
